Reaching Out to The Community: Some Previous Projects

Small Projects = Big Impact

Persons of multiethnic/multiracial descent can be found spread widely throughout communities if only we take the time to look. We partner with other charitable organizations, schools and community centers to maximize our impact. Every single child and adult we reach is another opportunity to create a butterfly effect of goodwill moving forward.

  • Design and implementation of an art curriculum for socioeconomically disadvantaged elementary school children of multiple ethnicities for a summer camp during the pandemic

  • Organization of a food bank and delivery of food to those experiencing food insecurity in underserved, primarily minority, areas of Dallas County during the pandemic

  • Community center refurbishment by painting classrooms and restoring the community center garden for a facility used by families of many heritages

  • Promoting the joy of self expression by partnering with an elementary school in an underserved, primarily minority, area to raise funds, gather donations, package and deliver art school supplies for students to use in the classroom

  • “Math Buddies” virtual tutoring and mentoring program for socioeconomically disadvantaged elementary school children during stay-at-home orders in the pandemic

  • Social Impact outreach panels: Encouraging young minority and multiracial children to become involved in social impact activities to establish a pattern of community involvement and instill a sense of pride in themselves and their community
